Our focus areas
The war continues and millions of people are affected. With Swedish donations, we are on the ground day and night trying to help those in need.
"When you see the hope ignited by just one food box for someone who has lost everything, you want to do nothing but help."
We are making a difference by volunteering in war-torn Ukraine!
The war continues and many people are in need. Behind the front lines, we find injured, sick and disabled people, destroyed buildings and stray animals, and widespread shortages of food, water, hygiene products, electricity, heating, health care, education and social services.
We are convinced that quality volunteer work - with local support from individuals, organizations and companies - makes a difference and effectively alleviates hardship.
Examples of how we make a difference.
Food
We often receive large quantities of food donated on pallets, but also smaller donations from individuals.
We advertise the food needs on our collection lists and ensure sufficient or long shelf life.
We distribute the food ourselves in villages that have been severely affected by the fighting and have very little opportunity to obtain food by other means.

Medical equipment
The need for medical equipment is very high. We distribute everything from consumables - such as disposable gloves - to advanced medical equipment - such as high-quality automated operating tables.
Deliveries go to the hospitals with the greatest need and stabilization points behind the frontline.

Clothing & Footwear
We distribute clothes and shoes collected by enthusiasts around Sweden.
The clothes are used but of high quality and in demand depending on the season.
We also receive batches of new clothes from companies that we deliver to villages where basic clothing is not available, or to support IDPs who lack the finances to support themselves and their families.

Hygiene products
We distribute personal hygiene products collected to help women, children and the elderly.
Maintaining good hygiene is essential to avoid the spread of infection and epidemics.
Therefore, we usually distribute hygiene products when we visit the villages.
The need for diapers, both for children and the elderly, is extremely high and continues.

Toys
Many children have been affected by the war, and one of the consequences is that many of them are unable to attend school.
Adding a little something to these children's lives is important and should not be underestimated.

Stoves
Many houses have suffered damage to windows and roofs from bombing, making it harder to keep warm. Energy supplies have also been destroyed by bombing.
To help households stay in their homes, we are distributing very simple stoves that enable heating and cooking.

Animal food
The Ukrainian people care a lot about their pets.
Not having a solution for their pets can be an obstacle to evacuating to a safer place.
We therefore support centers that take care of cats and dogs.

Reconstruction
Schools and hospitals are constantly under attack.
The school is the central point of the village and crucial to its survival.
Therefore, it needs to be rebuilt/reconstructed to prevent the depopulation of communities.
The scale of destruction of hospitals in the country is also high. More than 1,000 attacks have been recorded since the beginning of the war.
The needs are endless and recurring. We are providing building materials and supporting communities and societies.
